FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll – Week 4
GAMES PLAYED THROUGH SEPTEMBER 24, 2016
|-Alabama remained atop the poll for a fifth straight week and had the same number of first-place votes (41) as last week. Louisville also collected four first-place votes as it did last week. The top seven teams in the poll remained in the same order.
-Michigan State, at No. 9 a week ago, fell out of the poll after a home loss to Wisconsin, which moved into the No. 8 spot. Georgia and Arkansas both fell out of the poll after losses. Unbeatens Baylor and Nebraska entered the poll for the first time after victories over Oklahoma State and Northwestern, respectively. After beating Georgia, Ole Miss is back in the poll.
-The ACC, SEC and Big Ten account for three-fourths of the poll with four teams each. The Pac-12 has two and the American and Big 12 one each.
