FWAA-NFF SUPER 16 POLL – Week 6

GAMES PLAYED THROUGH OCTOBER 8, 2016
-Alabama, after a road victory at Arkansas, remained unbeaten and atop the poll with 41-of-45 first-place votes. Ohio State, Clemson and Michigan stayed 2-4 after victories. Washington and Texas A&M moved into the No. 5-6 slots. Houston suffered its first loss of the season to Navy and fell from No. 5 to No. 12.
-Arkansas dropped out of the poll after losing to Alabama and Stanford slipped out as well after losing to Washington State. Virginia Tech and Boise State both entered the Top 16 for the first time this season. -Three conferences –ACC, SEC and Big Ten–dominated the poll with four teams each. The American, Big 12, Mountain West and Pac-12 have one team each.
