The NFL Foundation will contribute $100,000 to the American Red Cross to support North Bay fire relief efforts, it was announced today.
The Red Cross is providing shelter, food and health services to affected residents. Additional Red Cross workers and resources are being mobilized to support the wildfire response as it continues to grow.
Earlier this week, the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders announced they united with Bay Area professional sports teams to collectively donate $450,000 to support North Bay fire relief efforts.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the North Bay community in the wake of this devastation. The NFL encourages fans to text CAWILDFIRES to 90999 to give $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief.

to Contribute $250,000 to Mexico City Earthquake Relief Efforts
The NFL Foundation, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers will together contribute $200,000 to Banorte’s Fundación Banorte to support disaster relief efforts following last month’s earthquake in Mexico City. Fundación Banorte will match these donations dollar-for-dollar.
Funds will be used to help rebuild homes affected by the earthquake in and around Mexico City.
The Dallas Cowboys have committed $50,000 to the Salvation Army’s relief efforts in Mexico City to assist with crisis intervention services for victims and first responders. Through this donation, the Salvation Army will provide water, food, shelter and emotional care to those immediately affected by the disaster and work with local officials to address long-term assistance for the most vulnerable and in need.
The Oakland Raiders will host the New England Patriots at Estadio Azteca on Sunday, Nov. 19.
Our thoughts are with the people of Mexico City and surrounding areas as they work to rebuild their community following this devastating earthquake.
