Movement aplenty after crazy upset filled week
-Alabama strengthened its grip on the top spot in the poll, garnering all 48 first-place votes. Auburn fell completely out of the poll after losing at LSU and was replaced by Virginia Tech. Penn State held at the No. 3 spot for a second straight week. TCU assumed the fourth spot.
