Mock Draft 2.0

It’s Draft Month!
by Three Point Stance Magazine Scouting Director Justin Day | @Jdayerrday | Mail@3PSMag.com
If you missed my Mock Draft 1.0, I got you fam.
Here is 2.0.
- Arizona Cardinals – Kyler Murray QB Oklahoma
I can’t remember a time where in back to back years the first selections were quarterbacks who went to the same school. I’m not even sure it’s happened, but alas…
- San Francisco 49ers – Nick Bosa EDGE Ohio St
The 49ers desperately need a pass rusher and the best in the class falls into their laps at number two.
- New York Jets: Josh Allen EDGE Kentucky
These first few picks are all pretty simple at this point. All the buzz has Allen to NY and they need to get to the passer. No brainer.
- Oakland Raiders: Devin White LB LSU
Maybe the best player in the entire draft heads to Oakland to add to their already stellar offseason.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Montez Sweat EDGE Miss St.
Has anyone’s stock gone higher than Sweat’s in the last month? Tampa is another team that needs pass rush help, Sweat can provide just that.
- New York Giants: Quinnen Williams DT Alabama
But the Giants need a QB, right? Yes, they certainly do but will Dave Gettleman really do it this early? I think he takes the best player available and waits until rounds two or three to get a QB.
- Jacksonville Jaguars: Jawaan Taylor OT Florida
If Haskins is still available here, this is a prime trade up spot, or maybe Jacksonville takes him as Foles insurance. I think they trust Foles and strengthen their offensive line.
- Detroit Lions: TJ Hockenson TE Iowa
I wanted to give Detroit a certain corner out of LSU, which is what they should do, but Hockenson is a legit TE who will help Stafford and that offense move the chains.
- Buffalo Bills: DK Metcalf WR Ole Miss
The Bills could also use DB help, but I think they add DK Metcalf and try to give Josh Allen more to work with on offense.
- Denver Broncos: Dwayne Haskins OB Ohio St.
There’s no way Haskins falls to ten but it would take someone jumping in front of Denver to keep them from selecting him in this scenario.
- Cincinnati Bengals: Devin Bush LB Michigan
The Bengals desperately need linebacker depth and Devin Bush is a day one starter. They should run to the podium to select this kid.
- Green Bay Packers: Brian Burns EDGE Florida St.
The Packers could go several ways here but I think the most likely would be them going after Burns who should help solidify their pass rush.
- Miami Dolphins: Jonah Williams OG Alabama
QB here? No way, the Dolphins are tanking for Tua.
- Atlanta Falcons: ED Oliver DT Houston
If Ed Oliver reaches his potential, Atlanta could have one of the scariest defensive fronts in the entire league.
- Washington: Drew Lock QB Missouri
They should trade for Josh Rosen.
- Carolina Panthers: Garrett Bradbury C NC State
Ryan Kalil is gone, Bradbury could fill that need, and play immediately.
- New York Giants (from Cleveland): Marquise Brown WR Oklahoma
He’s not Odell but he is damn good.
- Minnesota Vikings: Cody Ford OT Oklahoma
Whomever they deem is the best offensive linemen left on the board is who they should take. Simple as that.
- Tennessee Titans: Christian Wilkins DT Clemson
WR or TE would also make sense. I just think Wilkins would give Tennessee one hell of a one two punch with Jurrell Casey.
- Pittsburgh Steelers: Greedy Williams CB LSU
Congratulations Pittsburgh, you get the steal of the draft.
- Seattle Seahawks: Rashan Gary EDGE Michigan
Yeah, I’m not sure how he fell this far either.
- Baltimore Ravens: AJ Brown WE Ole Miss
I feel like the Ravens are perpetually looking for wide outs.
- Houston Texans: Andre Dillard OT Washington St.
The Texans are like the Vikings in this respect, they need to draft whatever O-lineman they like the most.
- Oakland Raiders (from Chicago): Clelin Ferrell EDGE Clemson
The Raiders lost the Khalil Mack trade but this offseason has been very good for them. Adding Ferrell would add onto that.
- Philadelphia Eagles: Josh Jacobs RB Alabama
This is not the RB I would take here but the position makes sense and it sounds like they really like this kid.
- Indianapolis Colts: Jerry Tillery DT Notre Dame
The Colts need to continue to add to their defense and Tillery is a monster. He’s very raw but could become an absolute stud at the next level.
- Oakland Raiders (from Dallas): Byron Murphy CB Washington
The Raiders keep on winning.
- Los Angeles Chargers: Nasir Adderley S Delaware
I really love this kid’s game. Him and Derwin James is porn.
- Kansas City Chiefs: Deandre Baker CB Georgia
I wanted to go RB here but the talent of Deandre Baker will be too much for KC to pass on.
- Green Bay Packers (from New Orleans): Erik McCoy OL Texas A&M
Day one starter at multiple positions if need be. I like this pick for Green Bay.
- Los Angeles Rams: Juan Thornhill S Virginia
I have no clue what the Rams will do here…
- New England Patriots: Noah Fant TE Iowa
This would just be fun, right?
