Gambling on the 2019 Draft

Gamble on teams futures as they try to decide theirs

We are back with 2019 NFL Draft Prop Bets. We’ve turned profits in 2017 and 2018, and we are back for more. It seems like there are less props this year, maybe we won too much and they’ve decided to scale them back? WHO KNOWS.

What I do know are there are some absolute gems and steals to be had, here are my top 5 bets for this weekends action.

1st Player Drafted
Kyler Murray -475
Nick Bosa +320
Quinnen Williams +800
Josh Allen +3300
Dwayne Haskins +5000
Drew Lock +5500

This is a dangerous pick, because at any time the Cardinals could leak a story of who they are taking, leak a rumor to get trade value, trade out of the top pick, or any other number of scenarios that could ruin this wager. I think someone REALLY wants the guy I feel is the best edge rusher in the draft, Josh Allen, and I am going to throw a little bit at him at 33/1.

Number of Defensive Players drafted in Round 1
Over 16.5 -150
Under 16.5 +205

Seems like a steep price, but in an ever increasingly offensive league, defenders are at a premium, and there are a LOT of good defenders in this draft, I’ll take the over.

Josh Jacobs – Draft Position
Over 25.5 -220
Under 25.5 +160

Got a sneaky feeling the Raiders find a way to use a pick to replace the recently re-retired Marshawn Lynch. I’m taking the Under.

Number of Quarterbacks Drafted in Round 1
Over 3.5 -320
Under 3.5 +220

In a year where there aren’t many franchise quarterbacks, and there are not a lot of teams NEEDING a franchise QB, this number feels oddly high to me. ESPECIALLY if the Cardinals don’t take Kyler Murray at one. Even if they do, Dwayne Haskins will go, but then who goes next? Jones? Lock? Stidham? I just don’t see it. Under.

First WR Selected
D.K. Metcalf -175
Marquise Brown +175
A.J. Brown +400
Hakeem Butler +450
N’Keal Harry +650
J.J. Arcega-Whiteside +4000
Parris Campbell +4000

To me Metcalf feels like this years John Ross. Lit up the combine, but what have the Bengals got out of him? I’m not even sure he’s the best WR coming out of Ole Miss this year. I’m taking plus money and going Hollywood at +175.
