Shawn S. Lealos
Shawn was watching the NFL at the age of 8, cheering for names like Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett and Randy White as he developed a lifelong fandom for the Dallas Cowboys. By the age of 15, Shawn was cheering names like Jamelle Holieway and Brian Bosworth as the Oklahoma Sooners won the National Championship.
10 years later, Shawn enrolled at OU where he studied journalism and covered the Sooners football team. By his senior year of college, he was standing on the sidelines of the Orange Bowl in Florida and watched the Sooners win yet another National Championship.
To say that football – professional and college – is an obsession for Shawn is putting it lightly.
Shawn’s writing career has led him in interesting directions – from writing DVD reviews at Chud.com to writing movie reviews and professional wresting news at 411mania.com to writing about another passion in comic books at CBR.com. Along the way, he wrote and directed some movies, worked on a comedy sketch show on YouTube, and wrote a book about Stephen King’s Dollar Baby Filmmakers. And, now, at Three Point Stance Magazine, Shawn once again returns to football.
Shawn religiously follows the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners and cheers for the Oklahoma City Thunder in basketball and Texas Rangers in baseball.
After a stint in the football obsessed wastelands of West Texas, Shawn has returned to Oklahoma, where he lives with his wife and son and is always writing.
